Taking an Internationally-recognized Festival Hybrid

As Miami Film Festival ventured to host a hybrid festival for the first time, Fever Content was tasked with constructing, implementing, and overseeing a social media marketing campaign, creating a unique brand voice, and establishing a new technical infrastructure.

Campaign Highlights

Brand Voice

Fever Content created a unique “brand persona” so we could genuinely connect with audiences across the country and invite them to the Miami film going experience. Research from film festivals, art galleries, and lifestyle/culture accounts helped sculpt Miami Film Festival's brand voice as an expression of the festival's unique taste for cinema combined with local Miami flare. Our meticulously crafted and detailed Brand Voice Guide ensured the festival’s voice stayed consistent across all social platforms and email newsletters. As the festival ended, we transitioned ownership of this new brand voice back to the client via several training sessions and takeaways.

305 Frame

To bring even more of the Miami experience to audiences across the country, we launched the '305 Frame' project as part of our ‘Only in the 305’ social media content initiative. We designed a 305 stencil frame with festival laurels to celebrate the uniqueness of the Miami 305 with pictures of the frame in different popular spots around Miami, encouraging audiences and mobilizing partners to download, use the frame, and tag us.

Filmmaker Toolkit

Inspired by the talent in the 2021 Miami Film Festival, we designed Filmmaker Social Media Toolkits for 50 feature films and 44 short films that provided filmmakers a guide to kickstart their own social media campaign in support of their film. These toolkits included pre-crafted social graphics, copy recommendations, a Facebook Group Engagement Guide, list of important dates, and more. In addition, we invited filmmakers to send us 15 second film pitches promoting their film so we could personally connect our audience across the nation with the filmmakers. We received 30 different pitches, with many filmmakers reposting on their own social accounts and expanding our reach to their audiences as well. This effort had a massive impact on personalizing the festival for fans old and new.
